Jelena Adzic holds a wealth of national and international experience.

Seen as the face of arts and entertainment coverage on CBC News Network, Adzic serves as a multi-platform arts reporter and critic.

She provides special live coverage from events such as the Toronto International Film Festival, the Scotiabank Giller Prize Awards, and the Academy Awards.

On radio, she is the arts columnist for CBC's Here & Now program, and serves as guest host for q.

Previously, Adzic served as host of CBC's arts program, The Scene. She also contributed to other networks, as host of Vision TV's flagship current affairs program, 360 Vision, and as national reporter for TechTV and host of The Biography Channel Canada. 

On the other side of the lens, Adzic served as senior series producer of Workforce, a TVO career show for youth. She also travelled throughout the Caribbean islands, as a producer on the CTV travel series, Suite & Simple, that also aired on Fine Living Network in the U.S.

After earning her HBA university degree in political science and business administration, Adzic trained in documentary film production. She then applied her studies abroad, working for a newspaper in Korea, and later on film sets in Finland.

From her exclusive interviews with leaders such as Archbishop Desmond Tutu and Lieutenant-General Roméo Dallaire, to authors the likes of John Irving, Salmon Rushdie, Margaret Atwood and Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, to celebrities including Madonna, Beyonce, Taylor Swift, George Clooney and Brad Pitt - Jelena Adzic anchors the human connection.
